Yea i had already tried inserting the disk they had sent me. IT produced a window that said it did not detect the audio device. I had forgot to mention that i have the Soundblaster Audigy advanced MB.
Just insert your driver CD, then let it automatically search for the drivers and it will it directly off of the disc. The driver discs currently distributed have both xp and vista drivers.
i've done the cd. I tried downloading that driver above, and it too said it doesn't work. It under other devices labled as Modem device on High Definition Audio Bus.
My 1520 having the same problem too. I search through the web sites, it seems there is no driver for D330, has only for Vista.
What I did is downloaded the driver for D110, and extract it to a file. Go to the device manager look for the ? modem device, then update drivers, then point to the extracted folder. The driver dell1028p should handle the device nicely. But mostly I will not use the dial up modem.
Well I figured out what your problem was. I can't seem to find it for your model, but it happened to mine and I fixed it. You have to find the driver for the Conaxant thing. I can't find the driver for your model though, it is only available for Vista.
