They are up to version 20 now, so I suspect that The Print Shop version 10 is not compatable with XP. I had to upgrade my Anti-virus software when I switched to XP.
I have also tried to run a Microsoft program with the compatibility with no success.
Thanks. I was hoping I could use SOME of my old programs with this new computer. Oh well. I'll have to spend more money I suppose. I have already been sent the new Print Shop--version 20 in two C.D.'s. I guess I'll have to buy it.
Last week I installed Print Shop Deluxe from floppies (1993) that was originally for windows 3.1 on a 486. It works. Maybe you should try it again. Uninstall, regedit and reinstall.
If you're not familiar with the Registry Editor (the command is regedit) then do NOT use it. For information purposes, type regedit into your "Help and Support" box and read about it. There will likely come a time when you will have to use it, preferrably with supervision. I suggest you just delete the PS folder that may be in the Programs folder and re-install it in normal mode and see what that brings.

Forgive me but, What does "regedit" mean?
It installed just fine. Right as I was attempting to create a card, it gave me the error message.

The system requirements for Printshop 10 is 95, 98, or NT. If you get to install it again, try running Microsoft Upgrade Advisor. Get the link here.
Always use Add/Remove (from the Control Panel) when you want to delete the program.
