Installing Simplified Chinese MUI?

Hello,
I am trying to install the Simplified Chinese language pack for my friend with Windows XP. When it prompts for the Windows XP CD, it tells me to retry. I have spent a couple of hours trying things out. Is there a Simplified Chinese MUI I can download?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Not legally.  Windows XP MUI is not free and it is not sold through retail channels.  MUI is not the same as language pack.  Are you sure you are installing the right addon?  Presumably you wish to change the English interface of your Windows XP Professional to Simplified Chinese, correct?

Thanks for the reply. I thought the MUI was the language pack installed by checking the "Install East Asia Language Files" in the Languages options. Anyways, that step required the Windows XP CD, which I had trouble with. I am wondering if there is any download I can use instead.
