I'll unplug it the next few times I close the browser. It's only happened maybe 3 times in the past week, so I'm not sure when/if it will happen again.
I have the same problem. Somtimes when i try to close IE, it just goes wild. i have to CTRL+ALT+Delete and rapid click end task on the task mannager. I am not sure if it only happens when i am plugged in. i Know that the last time it happened, It was plugged in.
Another think i have noticed is that it happens when IE is loading a webpage. I think that everytime it has happened, i tried to close it as it was loading. i am not sue if that has anything to do with it.

I had the same problem. I was told to reset the internet explorer settings.
