Java (TM) Upadte

I received an update for Sun Java this morning.

J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0
----------------------------------------
J2SE Runtime Environment 1.5.0_06-b05

Any known issues with this update before I decide to install.

Windows XP SP2
IE 6.0.2900

For some reason it did not update but installed update 6, leaving #5. I removed both versions and reinstalled #6. All is well.

Yes, the JRE versions install independently into their own folders and don't check for or uninstall previous versions for you. It is therefore a good idea to uninstall the previous version before installing a new one.
