JavaScript and Adobe Flash player
I have a Dell XPS M1530, running Vista Home Premiun and Internet Explorer 7.
After downloading/installing Norton 360.3 on my laptop, when I visit websites like You Tube, or sites showing videos,I get the following message/s
1."you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player." or,
2. "You need a current version of the Flash plugin to view this content"
I currently have JavaScript V6, U12 and Adobe Flash Player 10,0,22,87 installed. Both are the latest versions.
Norton 360.3 has been uninstalled, attempted the sites again, with the same result. Norton 360.3 was then re-installed(This was performed by a Norton Tech on-line)
Anyone know how to resolve this problem?
Thanks,

jmc31,
If you have a 64-bit operating system, click start, in the search bar type Internet and then look for Internet Explorer that does NOT say 64-bit and try using that one.
I recommend that your computer has the latest Windows Updates, especially .net framework, needed to run many applications and the latest Java.
Adobe Test Shockwave and Flash Players This will need to be done with each browser you use.(Example Internet Explorer uses a different version of Flash Player that Mozilla Firefox does)

Problem solved.
I downloaded a de-bugger for Flash Player 10, which has done the trick.
Adobe are obviously aware of the problem.
