Javascript not working

This is the latest Javascript problem I'm having.  I noticed this when I was fixing a winfixer virus:

Yes, I have it enabled.  But I still can't get most windows to pop-up.  For example, clicking on pictures on Gettyimages.com leads to this message: Javascript: Open Child Window followed by the URL string of the picture, but nothing comes up.

I've enabled javascript in IE options, but it's still not working properly.  Please help.  Thanks!

You can try this program to re-register IE's DLL's:

Download IEFix from here and run it. http://www.winxptutor.com/download/iefix.zip

Click the Apply button

You'll be prompted for the Operating System CD or the Service Pack Files location:

Click Cancel when you see that dialog box. IEFix will continue with DLL registration part.

Restart Windows

Or, if you prefer to do it manually: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679#kb3

Go to Start/Run and type: regsvr32 urlmon.dll and then click OK.
When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

Do the same for each of these.

regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Msjava.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
regsvr32 inetcomm.dll

Restart IE then:

Go to Start/Run and type: regsvr32 Shell32.dll click OK, click OK

Restart Windows

EDIT: links

I tried both of those options and it still doesn't work.  Here's an exact example of what is happening:

Most links work, but there are a couple sites that I go to where I can't get the link to open into another window (which is what is supposed to happen on these sites normally).  For example, on gettyimages.com you can click on the photo and it pops up in another window.  However, I'm getting this error at the bottom of the browser and nothing happens:

javascript:OpenChildWindow('http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/search/details_pop.aspx?iid=56904340&cdi=0',%20'',%20'width=640,height=500,menubar=no,resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes,status=no,titlebar=no,toolbar=no');

A security program may be blocking it.

Do you have any idea what it could be or which program?

It may be your security settings in IE. When loading the page with Firefox I noticed 2o7.net in the status bar, which opens pop-up advertising in IE.

You can download Firefox to see the pictures on Gettyimages.com.

OK..thanks I'll try that, but is there a way to fix the problem in Internet Explorer.  I'd rather do that if possible?
