Use regedit.

  • Open up the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard Section of the registry.
  • Double click on the KeyboardSpeed Value in the right hand panel.
  • Change the value to something respectable like 80
  • Click OK
  • Close RegEdit

No effect. I changed the value, rebooted, but the speed is the same.

Yes.

Here is a pdf on tuning the keyboard in Vista, there are some repeat settings buried in Vista Ease of access.

Those settings seem to only make things slower.

That was for XP was hoping it would work for Vista, guess not. :smileysad:
