Try going to the cameras web site and look for any driver udates. If that doesn't help look for updates on the type of chipset you have. You can find out what type of chipset you have by selecting your system from the link below:

Then go to http://ww.intel.com and find the updates there. This is all I can do since we don't know what type of system you have.

Largar camera people say the answer is a new driver, which they say they cannot write until SP2 becomes 'more stable program'.

Leaves me with a camera which I cannot use unless I uninstall SP2, according to Dell and Microsoft and Largan, which is unacceptable due to security concerns.

Is anyone else having problems with Largan Chameleon Mega camera after loading SP2 or is it just me?????

I am also having problems with my Chameleon Mega camera. Can't figure out why windows doesn't detect it. I thought it was because the black tabs on my front USB port fell off but the back USB ports work for other devices so I don't think that is the problem either. Plus my driver for the camera does not install properly to the device manager. Maybe the same problem...don't know though.

Have you gone to the Largan site and downloaded the new stuff there?

XP SP2 would not recognize my camera after it was loaded either, until I did that. Had to uninstall and reinstall the new driver there. It made the camera recognizable, but it still will not load more than one picture at a time.

I have not checked to see if they have gotten the new, new driver so that problem will be corrected, but at least I can take and download pictures. To download more than one is still a supreme hastle however.

I have tried that and bought a new cable to see if maybe something was wrong with the cable I have but my computer still does not even detect that the camera is attached. So maybe it is actually something else. The camera works on the television soooo I have no idea what it could be now. If I could get the computer to detect the camera and download only one picture at a time I would be happier than what is happening now.:smileyhappy: Thanks for your reply
