Lexmark 5250 error

Hello,

I have a Dell Dimension 8100 and I had to reinstall Windows XP because my hard drive failed. However, after the reinstallation, I can no longer install my Lexmark 5250 printer. I get the following error each time I try:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program C:\WINDOWS\System32\LXBTcoms:exe

This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application support team for more information.

Does anybody know what could be the problem and how to fix it?
