MS Office Home & Student Suite and Windows Mail????

I have a Inspr.1501 with VISTA.  Came from Dell with OEM Windows Word & Windows Mail.

I am thinking of purchasing MS Office Home & Student Suite.  Will the OEM Win Mail continue to operate?

Or will I be creating a conflict between these two pieces of software?

I think but do not know, that the OEM Win Mail uses portions of the OEM Word to function if this is correct 

Would the Win Mail continue to operate with the OEM Word or would it then link to the new Suite?  Again would I be creating conflicts?

My plan is to not remove any OEM software, but just hopfully load in the Office Home & Student Suite and not use the OEM Win Word.

I would appreciate everyone's thoughts on this.
