MSN Explorer - "Mailhost" & "Downloadhost" errors

You've probably heard this one before, but I can't find a complete answer. When I use MSN Explorer I am getting the following: MSN(#).Mailhost, Windows cannot open this file, when trying to access my Email. And MSN(#).Downloadhost, Windows cannot open this file, when trying to download programs. These problems started occuring  after I used my McAfee Internet Security Suite maintenance option and it "cleaned-up" my registry. After being directed to search the internet for correcting this problem, I ran - regsvr32 c:\progra~1\msn\msncorefiles\mailui.dll and it solved the Email problem. Great! Then ran - regsvr32 c:progra~1\msn\msncorefiles\msnmetal.dll to solve the download problem but I still get the Downloadhost error. Even when I just attempt to View the Download Manager!!! It appears the file is downloading but I no longer can run the downloaded program from the Download Manager. I could work around it if I wrote down the saved file every time, but that is impractical!

Can anyone help?   Thanks, Jerry E
