Hello,

When connected to the internet check to see if there are any new updates and see if it will chage the expired service.  I'm not a Macfee user, sorry that I can't help that much.

They make this so complicated. Have you tried going to McAfee's stie and clicking on live chat with an agent? I would do that and get them to help you figure this out.

They may not be much help, but good grief, they shouldn't make this so complicated! I have had all sorts of problems with McAfee. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. And by the way, the first time I uninstalled I did not do it correctly, but I could not figure out how to do it. I called Dell for help and he said to go to add/remove programs and click remove. I had read the directions and it said to uninstall virus scan first. I mentioned this to the guy at Dell and he said all you have to do is click remove, so that is what I did. Well that was wrong.  On the McAfee site they say to uninstall virus scan  by clicking on uninstall virus scan. I do not have a uninstall virus scan tab. Come to find out, if you don't have that  they want you to edit the registry. I do not feel confident doing this. I may just not have up to date virus software due to this.
