Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Solution Center
During installation of software on my computer to enable a link-up with a Canon Power Shot A720 IS camera, I was advised it was necessary to install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Solution Center.
Will I automatically receive updates to .NET Framework 2.0 Solution Center through Windows Update or what should I do.
I have a Dell Dimension 4100 Desktop computer with Windows XP Operating System - Home Edition - Service Pack 2, Pentium 111 processor with 930 MHZ, 20 GB Hard Drive and 512 MB of RAM. The file system is FAT 32.

I would skip .NET 2 and go to the microsoft website and download 3. I had all kinds of problems when the automatic install of 2 failed and then I could not remove it, or reinstall it. After days of banging my head against the wall I got it removed and got 3 installed.
