Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library....

Question

I get an error message when trying to open internet explorer that reads: Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information. This will not let me open IE, if I re-boot my PC it will then work again but keeps happening frequently. I now use Mozilla Firefox to remedy any problems. Is there a way to fix this?

Do you have the Google Toolbar?  If so, try uninstalling the toolbar, then reinstalling it and see if the problem goes away. Steve

I removed 'google desktop' from the list of startup programs using msconfig. I didn't use the program anyway and the problem has not happened since. Thank You
