The Unhandled Exception Error can be a problem in the Registry. However, I don't recommend running a registry "repair" program as many times they will cause more problems than they fix.
I would recommend uninstalling Microsoft Net Framework completely, restarting the PC and then reinstalling the latest version from Microsoft as a next step.
In my Windows 7, 64 bit system, netframework is listed in the Control Panel/Programs/Uninstall a Program as "Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Client Profile".
Or a better alternate is to download the free version of "Revo Uninstaller" HERE as it will also allow you to delete any left over Registry entries related to the application.
