Microsoft xps document writer

Question

Xp, sp2. I read this newest down load but do not know what xps alone or in context with the rest of the words means so I don't know if it is wise to install it. Thank you for helping.

This looks to a Service Pack 2 for Windows XP. If that is true yes you should install it. I would make sure that I download it from Microsoft or some other trusted source.   pcgeek11

The XPS Document writer can be thought of as an internal file printer.  You can print items to a file using this internal print device.

Thank you both for your help - after downloading it from Microsoft I did find it in with printers and faxes.
