Minor problems

I've been having minor windows problems lately that I need help on. It seems that whenever I exit out of a program it doesn't close right away and the "end now" box comes up (this has been happening more often). I'm also having problems in certain message boards using the back "arrow" device. And lastly, whenever I log out of hotmail, I don't go back to the msn sight, but my screen stays the same without any script. Does anybody have any suggestions on what might be the cause of this?
