Missing Win 98 File

Question

I am trying to set up a home network between three computers.  On computer # 2 I have Win 98.  When I tried to run the network wizard disk, I got a message that a file in Win 98 was missing and to put in the Win 98 CD.  I bought Computer # 2 second -hand and don't have a Win 98 CD.  How can I recover the missing file?

juanflyer, All Windows 98 CD are created equal. You can use the CD from the Win98 installation on one of the other computers to replace the missing file.

You have Windows 98 on Computer #1, you bought computer #2 second hand (with Windows 98 on it, but with no Windows 98 CD). Have you no Windows 98 associated with the installation on Computer #1. If you have two computer with Windows 98 on both of them but no CD, you will have to search the Internet to see if the missing file is available there for download or copy the file for computer #2 from computer #1 (or purchase a copy of Windows 98).
