Mobsync error

I'm suddenly getting this error message upon startup from mobsync.exe that says No Disk - \device\harddisk3\dr4 not found. There is only 1 hd installed though.

Unfortunately, the CPU now also has 100 % load all the time so things work extremely slowly. There doesn't seem to be a program running that's causing this; closing all that can be closed will not reduce the load at all. I suspect there is a connection between these two things, but I am unable to determine which.

Is the disk failing, or is this a problem with the disk driver, or something complelety different?

The OS is W2k.
