Mouse and Keyboard Not Working after Restore

Question

My Dimension 9100 showed lots of bluescreen due to virus(?) so I had to Restore to Factory state with  'Ctrl+F11' . After reboot, I see the very first welcome screen asking to hit Next button. I tried moving my mouse , it did not moving. I tried hit keyboard Enter key, it did not work. I turned off and turn on , tried again, nothing work... During the booting, keyboard is working because I can go into Setup mode by pressing F2 key. I tried another mouse, it was not helping...   What seems to be the problem? Thanks in advance

The same problem, if someone could help, it would be nice!   Optiplex Gx280 desktop. Reinstall XP in repair mode, comes the first panel, no usb mouse, no usb keyboard. There's no PS/2 port on this series. I tried the same procedure on a different type (not Dell) of laptop, it worked without any problem, it must be some Dell kind of bug.   What can be the solution??   THX, Gabor
