Mouse wheel (scroll) does not work with Adobe Framemaker

Question

I just installed a brand-new Dimension 9200 with Dell optical mouse. Scroll wheel works in all applications EXCEPT (the one I need), Adobe Framemaker 7.0.   According to Framemaker documentation, I should use an older Logitech mouse driver. I tried this and it still does not work with Framemaker.   Can anyone help?

For anyone interested, the solution I found to this problem was to install a 3rd party software called 'Freewheel' which works fine.
