Moving to a new computer!

I am just bought a new Dell at work. What is the best/easiest way to move all my files to the new computer. How about Favorites on the browser? What about the applications?
Thanks in advance for the help.

You cannot move applications, they have to be reinstalled.

You can move data files by burning them to CD.

You can move settings by using Windows XP's Files and Settings Transfer wizarad.  Go to Help on the new computer and type it in and you will see clear instructions.  By using the Custom setting you can pick only what you want to transfer.

to save your "favorites", in internet explorer, click "file", then "import and export", and then "export" your "favorites".. you can then burn the file to a cd, copy it to a floppy disk (if you have a floppy drive), or upload the file for online-storage, and then download it to the new computer from the online-storage..
