No Hibernate on XPS M1330
My new XPS M1330 with Windows Vista 64-bit on it does not have a hibernate option on it. I searched the web and found that I should be able to get it enabled if I type "powercfg -h on" from the command prompt. When I try this it states that I don't have permission to do such. The account that I am doing this in is an administrator account so I don't know what the deal is. I have plenty of disk space.
Any ideas on how to get this enabled?

The XPS M1330 IS a laptop.
Mike,
Click on the Windows Orb (bottom left corner), type "cmd.exe" (without the quotes) in the Start Search box, and when "cmd.exe" appears at the top of the list, RIGHT click on it and select "Run as administrator". You should now be able to enable hibernation.

Hi Mike,
Hibernation is intended for laptops as a means of saving battery power. It does not work well or is unavailable on desktop machines. If you wish to introduce power saving features, go to control panel/power options.

When you hover your pointer (cursor) over the yellow Standby button and hold down the Shift key, does it not change to Hibernate?
