OK What Is Nero Image Drive???
I have Nero 6.3.0.2 for a few years now but never used Image drive or Backit up. Now that I just purchased a 2nd hard drive (it will be here Aug 3rd) I have read on some of the Dell posts about using Nero image drive or Backitup to back up my master drive. I went through the Nero manual and it is above me for the Image drive. The Back it up seems a little simpler to figure out but I do not have my 2nd drive yet to test that.
I can create 2 image drives but what to do with them? Also I found the Recorder> Brun Image and tried saving a Word file to create a NG file so I could put it in the Image drive to do a test. But Nero will not accept the Word file.
Should I possible create a image drive 1st then go to Recorder>Choose recorder and then choose a image drive? Also when I go to open up a file (NRG,ISO,CUE) or All Files it will not reconise my Word or File folders?
Stumped??

In answer to your PM, although I use Nero, I have the cheapie version that does not have a drive backup feature. The Backitup software has a tutorial available here: How to use Nero BackItUp...

I have all the info in my manual and I suspect that I can figure out the backitup. The image drive had me confused.
I thank you for the link though! Would you think it would be possible to contact you again when I go to install my 2nd HD if I run into any problems? I will try contacting seagate first as I believe that they do have a help line.
Again, I really appreciate the help!
