Thanks.  I saw this site earlier.  I'm not sure that this is applicable to my situation.  Can you explain?  I don't have much knowledge in this field.

In the link scroll down to "Make sure that you are using the latest BIOS revision for your computer. Contact the computer manufacturer to inquire about how to obtain and install the latest BIOS update that is available for the computer."
 
Than scroll down to " 243909 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/243909/EN-US/) List of BIOS Manufacturer Web Sites Part 1"
 
Than click on dell.
 
Why not give system restore a try,you might luck out. :smileyhappy:

I don't know how you run XP on 128mb ram, amazing.
 
Try another mouse and try to boot.
