Optiplex 760 Graphics Issues
I have an Optiplex 760 small form that I recently had to reinstall Windows 7 due to a hard drive issue, I am running Windows 7 Enterprse 32bit, I have 2 Gigs of Ram and a 3.00 Core2Duo processor. After the reinstall of Windows I am not able to set the proper resolution of my Dell 1909wf (widescreen monitor) the proper resolution is 1440x900 and I am not able to select it. I have my monitor connected though VGA as that is the only connection on my computer. When I go in to Device Manager, I have a little warning tri-angle next to Intel (R) 4 Series Internal Chipset. When I click on properties of the Intel 4 chipset, the error is:
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.
I have downloaded the drivers for the graphics card and for the chipset directly from Dell by entering the service tag and have rebooted my computer several times with no success. I have even had Windows search for the latest update and It says I have the latest driver installed. I also have a warning tri-angle on Intel (R) Management Engine Interface. Keep in mind that my computer worked great on 7 before the hard drive was re-imaged. I work in IT for a large call center, and have a low budget, so I exactly can't go out and buy a new PCI graphics card. I have other 760s with the same specs and montiors that have no issues. I can post screen shots if needed.

This issue has been resolved, I had to uninstall the driver from the device management, then install the Dell Drivers for the chipset and navigate Windows to the Dell drivers folder and it was successfully installed.

I opened the management window by clicking on Start, Right click on "computer" and click manage. You will be prompted for an administrator username and password if you are not. Then I clicked on Device Manger.

Vinny:
Here is a PDF file that I made with screen shots. I had issues with the AMD 3GIO driver that was loaded in to my network installation image of Windows 7. I have an Intel Core2Duo 760. The monitor I use is a Dell 1909 Widescreen that was not getting the proper resolution of 1440x900. I hope this helps.
