Outlook Express 6 incomplete display
I continue to get a red x in e-mail recieved. I have removed the firewall and antivirus software, set security to low and still have problems. Any suggestions?

If you are seeing that in place of graphics, the problem is with the originator of the email. Either they have chosen to send a message without including the graphic or if they are using Outlook Express they have not gone to Tools|Options|Send tab, clicked "HTML Settings" and checked "Send pictures with messages."

If someone sends you an e-mail and it has a url link to a photograph and either you are off line when you look at it or the remote site is not available you will get the red x.
I've also got e-mails from people that didn't format the e-mail correctly or entered the incorrect URL to a photo and it will give a red x too.
In almost all cases it's the way the e-mail was formatted, not something your e-mail program is doing.

Hi there
I am having the exact same problem you mentioned. What did you do to fix it?
