Outlook Express With MailWasher Problem

Hi,

Boy, is this weird.
A two-part question, please.

a. Using MailWasher with Outlook Express 5 via Comcast. Running W98.

Have no trouble sending or receiving e-mail via OE.
Mailwasher seems to intercept incoming e-mails just fine, also, when active.

But,

If I send an e-mail to myself as a test, with Mailwasher Active, and with my own
e-mail address as the To: and the From: ,
it never makes it (either to OE, or being intercepted by MailWasher)

It does show in OE as having been sent, though, and Does appear in the Sent
Folder ! (as a check, nothing in Outbox or Drafts folders)

Have checked properties, my address', and everything seems just fine.

The only reason it's of importance to me (the sending and receiving e-mail to myself, is just as a check. Am now a bit worried that I might be missing other e-mails also by using Mailwasher)

Any thoughts, or things to try, would be most appreciated.

Some add'l info:

Under Incoming Mail Server, and then Account name, I have in OE:
rgsrose/mail.comcast.net

Have tried changing it in for the mailwasher entry to just mail.comcast.net
Do I need the part before the "/" for MW ? Doesn't seem to work either way.
Which is correct, though ?

Worked perfectly until I just got Comcast.
Everything else via Comcast seems to work fine, with the exception of the
sending and receiving e-mails to myself with MailWasher open.

b. My second question:

I have the box "include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing" (under: Tools/Accounts/Mail/Properties/General) checked in OE.

Do I want this box checked, or unchecked, when also using MailWasher ?

Thanks; appreciate help and suggestions from all,
Bob
