Hi Tshokria,

First thing to check, which I commonly encounter on Dells is, booting in safemode and checking if there is an administrator account with no password. If so you should be able to login and remove the password from your admin account. If you are not sure how to boot into safemode please read here.

If the first is not the case, I would recommend you run a bootable CD/USB with an application on it that will allow you to reset the password. One such utility can be found here. You could also download BartPe, make a custom image and add Salsa's password renew.  This would then allow you to 'insert' a new admin account into the sam file, even if syskey is enabled.

Have a great day

Very strange.  I know today there seems to be a password for just about everything.  But how does one forget their administrator password that they use all the time?   Is this your PC?

Windows Password and BIOS password are 2 different things.
