Print Playlist from Media Player 11
After burning a CD, with the Burn List still in my window, how do I print a hardcopy?
Seems like there was once a Print Playlist optionon the File menu. I have Vista with
Media Player 11 and cant find that option anymore.

Unfortunately Jesse - the Morisoft Playlist Copier is no longer available [;(]
All the Google hits/downloads for the program which I tried, are showing 404 errors.
@ Dwight: Welcome to the forums :emotion-21:
I don't know of this is going to be of much use to you, but here's a Microsoft article on how to 'Export information from Your library'.
It requires using the 'Media Info Exporter' from the WMP 9 Series Winter Fun Pack 2003 - which would appear to necessitate downloading the full pack?
It's only 3.5MB though, and you'll hopefully be able to select which components from it that you want to install, such that you can choose only the Media Info Exporter?
But you'll obviously then have to import the playlist into another program, so you can edit it as necessary, then print it?
It's all a bit long-winded, but with the demise of Morisoft Playlist Copier, I don't know of any other way?
[edit] I've just come across this 'Windows Media Player Playlist Print' program, which is not only FREE - and works with WMP 9, 10, + 11, but would appear to do exactly what you're looking for?
Quote: "The program will only print your playlists, and/or make a compact playlist label for your CD case. It provides no playlist management.
All permanent editing or sorting of playlists are done with Windows Media Player, or the Player you are using."
Hopefully it can get the job done? [/edit]

dwightc,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum,.
There are no print playlist options within Media Player. At the title below is a program that may help you print the playlist.
Playlist Copier

Thanks a bunch.....the "windows media player playlist print" worked. I trid the Winter Funpack, but it wouldn't download into a series 11.
Seems like everyone who burns cd's would want to print the list. Don't know why it's not built in. Ah well - not mine to wonder why. This works
for me. You've saved me some head bangin'! Thanks again........

Excellent :emotion-21:
Since the problem is fixed, can I ask you to mark the thread 'solved' - highlighting the post which did the trick, for the benefit of anyone with a similar problem in the future searching the forums :emotion-5:

I'll be glad to, but don't know how. How do I get the thread back to mark it solved?

Thanks for the reply, Jesse. I had tried to download Playlist Copier but it appears to be no longer available. I did get the answer, though. The program: 'Windows Media Player Playlist Print'
worked for me. Sure seems like printing the label to the cd just burned would be built in to the Windows Media Player. Oh well! Thanks again............
