The most useful trick in MS Word is to find and delete all instances of the normal.dot file. Try that first.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work. As I said, I can print other documents.

Do you get any error message? How about print preview? You said they're sent via e-mail, as attachments or in the body of the e-mail (in which case they might be HTML documents, rather than *.doc)? If you save them, what type of file is indicated?

I don't get an error message. The print preview is blank. They are sent as attachments as a .doc file and are saved as a .doc file.
