Problem with installing driver for A920 All in one printer

Hi,

I have attempted on several occasions to install driver R153047 downloaded from Dell Support Website.

The problem is that I am getting this message "PRINT STATUS WINDOW INTERFACE HAS STOPPED WORKING" nearing the completion of the driver installation process.

I have also downloaded R166244 the Vista Dell patch to remove any previous A920 software as recommended by Dell.

Is anyone else having the problem that I have described and is there a fix for it.

Help from anyone will be very much appreciated.

Post your computer model and version of vista, upgrade or new install, when asking a question. Also include more info such as whether it has ever been installed and why you are installing a new vista driver. There is a forum for printers under Peripherals that might help you better.
