Problem with pre-installed Adobe Elements Studio
I've had my new XPS420 for two weeks now. When Adobe tells me there updates to download, it shows available updates (In the Photoshop Elements 6 section):
Adobe Camera Raw 4.3.1 Update
Extend Script Tool Kit 2.0.2
I click on "Install Now"
I get a pop-up as it's trying to download that reads:
Please shut down the following applications:
PhotoshopElementsFileAgent.exe
Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 (Editor)
I can shut down the Editor but can't find the requested .exe file anywhere.
Am I doing something wrong here?

I have same system/same problem. When I look in task manager I can not find anything that looks like Photoshop Elements fileagent.exe Or any part of it.

I don't understand "look in program files" I looked under each column in task manager, looked under view and tryed all optional columns. I looked under add/remove programs, under all programs. I looked in task manager for adobe, photoshop, fileagent.exe nothing close. I went to Adobe Elements and turned off update for photoshop elements.
The processes on task manager are not as easy to read in Vista as XP but I don't see it.
I also looked at startup programs, nothing.

Look here: My computer, C drive, Program files. Also try using search. Set it to find all files including hidden ones.
