Problem with reading internet tiff files and Dell Image Expert

Until recently I have been able to read tiff documents on my computer that are at the Library of Virginia.  What I have done recently on my computer it start to put photos into the computer under My Pictures.  In this area when I double click on a picture, Dell Image Expert comes up.  This I don't mind.  But now when I try to open tiff documents at the Library of Virginia, (which I have to double click on) a message comes up that I am past my 60 day trial of Dell Image Expert.  Is there any way to turn off Dell Image Expert when I am on the internet so I can read tif documents?  If not and I have to delete Dell Image Expert, will it hurt the pictures I already have placed under My Pictures on my computer.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

pastdigger,

If you have no other graphics program installed, *.tif files can be opened with both Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and Microsoft Paint. If the images are currently associated with Dell Image Expert you can change their association to one of the programs listed above as described here.

Mr. Denham,  thank you.  I went to the help on changing programs associated with files - the one at the Denny's Tutorial Viewlets and following the directions.  I have been able to go in and change my .tif viewing and now can again see files at the Library of Virginia.  Thank you so much.  I also scrolled through other topics at you 'viewlets' and see other things I have been wanting to know about.  Will go through the 'teaching' sessons and learn more.  Pastdigger
