Good news, I don't have the blaster worm. So the service just... stopped. ??? I changed the action to take no action like it suggested, but I'm not sure what this does or what I can do to make sure that it works. I mean it's there, so it has to have a purpose. Anybody know how to fix this?
I am having the exact same problem with my Inspiron 9300. This is NOT the MS Blaster Worm. I have formatted my computer twice and the problem still persists. I have run several MS Blaster Worm detection and removal utilities and none of them have even detected the worm on my system. Besides that fact, MS Blaster Worm is OLD. The patch to fix the vulnerability in XP has been out for a few years now and I already have it. Something else has to be causing this. Anyone have any insight?
