Re-Intalling XP - to wipe Spyware clean

Question

Hello - I am thinking of re-installing XP on my Dell computer - since my computer is just completely infected by numerous Spyware and pop ups....Do you think a re-install will take care of this.   Thanks - Rjaws27

It will take care of the spyware problem, but is kinda drastic . . what have you used so far to eliminate the spyware and junk?

I have tried Spybot, Adaware, and Spy Doctor among others and the Spyware keeps coming back......

Post and read in the Spyware forum: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=si_virus There are other cleanup tools like Ewido that can save you from having to reinstall.

Down load spyware blaster which actually repels malware. **Download and run  Ccleaner  -it does a great job of clearing out 'junk' you have accumulated.
