Recovering Windows Password

I have created a password to log onto windows for my administrator account.. and i have have forgotten the password.. is tere anyway to recover the password that i set without changing it?

i'm not sure about that. but i think you can change your administrator password into a new one

When you say your administrator account, do you mean a user account with admin rights? If yes, the link given by C0tt0n_CaNdy is relevant.

But if you mean the default (system) administrator account, that does not show up in the user accounts, then try

Works for XP as well as NT

In my experience the ntpasswd disk really only seems to work if you have it make a blank password.

Maybe, but that allows you to get in as system administrator, from which you fix the other issues, including restting the admin password.
