Reinstalled XP, won't boot

I reinstalled XP on my Dell 4400 using the original reinstallation disk. Now when I try to boot, I get a message stating:

Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 071) Copyright 1997, 1998, 1999 Intel Corporation

DHCP MAC ADDR: 00 02 B3 98 53 84

PXE-E53: NO BOOT FILENAME RECEIVED

BOOT FAILURE: SYSTEM HALTED

Fortunately, for me, I found that if I re-insert the reinstallation disk, and ALT, CONTROL, DELETE, it will boot.

How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Me again.........I found the following info:

PXE-E53: No boot filename received. The Boot Agent received a DHCP or BOOTP offer, but has not received a valid filename to download. If you are using PXE, please check your PXE and BINL configuration. If using BOOTP, be sure that the TFTP service is running and that the specific path and filename are correct.

Now I am trying to figure out what this means and how to fix it. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.......

kweigel,

Go into BIOS and set your hard disk as the first boot device. It sounds like your NIC card is presently in that position. See this.

Try running the recovery console and type in chkdsk /r or fixboot.  See if that works!
