Reinstalling Windows XP on Dimension 4600

Question

Could someobe please direct me to step by step instructions on how to reinstall my OS. It's been working great until recently. I now get error messages and blue screnn about every 2-3 days. This is the initial message that will appear as soon as I logon:

ziclient.exe application error failed to initialize properly - 0x000142 - click ok to terminate. The only way I can get into the system is to go back to another restoration point.

Thanks all, I think the problem was with zone alarm. I reinstalled it but port 5000 pnp is open. Cna someone please remind me how to close this port via zone alarm or windows?
