Repair My Computer not in Advnaced Boot Options
Hello,
I'm trying to restore my computer to the default settings, but I don't have the Repair My Computer option after getting to the Advanced Boot Options menu. I don't have the Vista CD, so I can't do the manual OS reload either. Any other options for getting back to the factory default settings.
Thanks.

What PC Model Number?
We can't really comment without it.
But, if the PC came with Vista then F8 (not F12) should access the Dell PC Restore.
If you are in the US, you can order a replacement set of discs HERE There are procedures to get the disc in other countries - contact Dell for your area.

Sorry about that.
I have a Inspiron 1525.
I would like to do this without having to order the replacement CDs if possible. If I remember correctly, isn't there a place where the CDs that came with my computer are available via download?
Thanks.

The Drivers can be downloaded from www.support.dell.com
But, you can't download the Windows Operating System disc.
