Runtime Error 226
After using my computer for a few minutes, I start getting "RUNTIME ERROR" messages.
A dialogue box pops up "Runtime Error 226 @ OA096E OF".
The above is just an example of the many various "Runtime Error" messages that pop up constantly.
I am using Windows ME
I have spent several hours searching the "HELP" sites and have found nothing that can provide any information as to WHY and What is causing these "Runtime Error" messages.
Any suggestions...??

I found a post on CNET which solved a problem identical to one you descibe in relation to Runtime Error 226. Quote from post:
"...please try installing the Visual Basic Runtime files from the link below:
Service Pack 6 for Visual Basic 6.0: Run-Time Redistribution Pack (vbrun60sp6.exe)
No guarantees, but it's worth a shot."
It worked for me...
