Runtime error 216 at 01493A16

Question

Dimendsion 4600 running Windows XP When closing doown the PC I get this runtime error message and occasional when PC is running. I can only clear by closing down the PC. Any advice pease? Thank you

Thank you for your response. I have installed IE7 but I use Mozilla Firefox. I could not find the runtime error 216 in the list so presumeably I need to start closing programmes one by one to identify the one causing the problem.

' This issue can occur if your computer is infected with a SubSeven Trojan virus.'   http://www.pcuser.com.au/pcuser/hs2.nsf/lookup+1/618BA7826EC36C49CA256AE6002E012B   Try running  avg anti spyware and your AV in safe mode.     http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5   You could also try trojan hunter.   http://www.misec.net/   It may be necesssary to disable system restore,scan in safe mode,than scan again in norm mode.If it chesks out ok,set another restore point.
