I fixed my problem. I closed every process item (in the task manager) one at a time, and opened AOL after I disabled each one. After I closed Dllcmd32.exe, AOL started working correctly. The file was part of a faxing software service I used in the past. I uninstalled the software, and now everything is working fine. I don't know what caused that program to suddenly start causing problems, but my guess is that it either became incompatible with something updated on my computer, or maybe was infected by something. Anyway, the problem is solved!

Just turn it off in your startup. It has to due with efaxing and hp printers. Then you can access it manualy.

I just bought a Latitude C610 laptop and immediately got 3 viruses.  I had to buy a dell version of Windows 2000 to re-install.  Did a complete re-install and now I cannot get online.  I am an MSN subscriber and they don't seem to be able to help.  When I try to install MSN it tells me I need a newer version of Internet Explorer (mine shows ie5).  I downloaded ie6 setup but the computer won't accept it - it goes through all the motions but never downloads.  My modem will dial through the internet connection wizard but once it connects it says MSN cannot verify my screen name and password and hangs up.  Anyone have any ideas as to what to do?
