SOFTWARE ISSUE, display cursor and buttons

hi , if anyone can help me please do.

have had issue with computer since new, the display of the type cursor in boxes does not appear,  also the trademe buttons such as Save to watchlist do not show up, i have to hover mouse till it changes to a hand and guess where buttons are for actions, also windows hotmail buttons to go to next message can not be seen but are actually there.

have tried firefox and is no better
