Thanks for the good lead. I also went even farther and found about the same kind of results specifically for Win98. Bottom line - no change!!!
I've finally got the original IEpeers.dll extracted from my original disk and reinstalled and registered - no change. I also per the "memo cure" suggestion, uninstalled my HP printer and reinstalled it, as well as changing the spooling settings. All to no avail. I even tried repairing IE6 (via the control Panel Add/Remove) and got no errors.
I'm now thinking the problem lies within IE6 itself. I reset all of it's settings back to the default settings, and even did a reinstall of it too, and still no farther along.
Question: Can I remove IE6 without loosing any of my OutLook Express data and regress back to IE5? Short of doing a Win98 reinstall, I don't know what else to do. :smileysad:
