SP2 issues
I loaded sp2 on my dell 2100, and after doing so I can not open IE, and other programs (such as MS Money and AIM) close after opening for a minute (I get the pop up window that window must close program due to unexpected errors.)
Has anyone seen this?
Any idea?
Many thanks.

Hello
We've got a 'few' optiplex pc's out at our sites (80 plus) i created a ghost image with a slipstreamed disk with XP Pro SP2. We have had to turn off the automatic updates due to recent updates that have either
(i) After logging on, you dont have any icons present and an error message appears with internet explorer will shut down due to blah, blah, blah. The annoying part is when you click on 'send error report' Microchump comes back with a message saying I should load Service Pack 2 (!).
Fortunately a web page does open after sending an error report and you can navigate into control panel and remove the update concerned. I dont have the bulltin number but its the latest bulletin on internet explorer security. You can disable it from downloading.
(ii) The other lovely thing that it does it downloads updates, restarts and goes into a loop. Load the Windows XP shell then restarts again. Last known good is as useful as chocolate socks so havent found a solution to prevent this from happening.
Anyone there that might know??
