Scan Disk/Defragment Disk

To solve your scandisk problem, look at the following site:

Your computer may be running slow because of the unnecessary stuff that automatically starts with Windows or because you have junk like spyware running on your system.

To get rid of the unnecessary stuff running form startup, see the following:

To get rid of the spyware, go to the following site and download, install, and run Ad-aware:

Note that removing the spyware programs may result in programs that installed the spyware not working after the spyware is removed.

You might also want to udpdate your virus definitions and run a full system scan for viruses
