Slow changing pages on Beckett.
OS...Windows XP Home Edition...SP3.....IE7.... Dell Dimension 4600...Pentium 4CPU 2.80GHz.......2.79GHz, 768MB of RAM. I have Microsoft Security Essentials, Assassin SE, Spyware Blaster & MBAM installed. I also have HiJack This.
I am having problems with slow changing pages. The only place I have this problem is when I go to Beckett. I get there with no problem & sign in with no problem but when I try to go to another page it takes like 1 to 2 minutes for the page to change. I don't have this problem anywhere else. EBay, PayPal, all works fine. Am I having problems with cookies or could there be something else doing this?
Any help will be appreciated,
Thanks,
doubleg.

The problem could be at the far end, Beckett. Depending to where I am connected, i get diffferent performance. Foxnews, CNN good, MSN fair, and CourierTimesOnLine poor. However no site I visit takes one - two muniutes to load a page, I would get a timeout nstead.

Thanks for the fast reply. I have used Beckett for years & have had no trouble. I had some malware problems a while back & it took a while to get it out. I just have a feeling that is where the problem is.
Seems like I remember seeing a page somewhere on cookies. Like a log of cookies that you want to keep, or get rid of, to make your system faster.
Have I lost my mind?

Downloaded different browser.
Thanks,
