Hi

Can anyone advise how you use this software to copy from harddrive to DVD. I have a TV card and can successfully record TV programs to my hard drive, I now want to transfer to DVD disk. I have been told it is not possible with this software.

Whatever you are capturing with creates a file.

That file is probably mpeg?

If Sonic will do a Movie project, simply import/add that mpeg file to it. Look through the Help files in Sonic.

I suggest having some DVD RW media at hand to use while learning.

More basic question: Do you have a DVD burner in your system. CD burners can't burn DVDs.

Sonic RecordNow won't burn DVDs even if you have a DVD burner. Dell may have installed the very basic Sonic MyDVD to burn DVDs assuming you ordered a DVD burner with the system. And as mentioned in the previous post, you obviously need to have the right DVD media for your drive
